If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using PII depends on the type of information and the context in which we collect it. We collect and use your PII only where:
- We need it to provide you the Services, including to operate, provide customer support, and personalize features

4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, and protect ourselves from potential disputes. 5. Service Integrations
To maximize the benefits of Seller Fetch, you may need to connect with third-party services such as Facebook, Google Ads, Shopify and various ecommerce and marketing platforms. This integration allows for data sharing, which may include personal data, to enrich your platform experience. While we don't store passwords for these services, we typically require an API key for integration.
6. Data Transfer
Your information, including PII, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including PII, to United States and process it there.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
7. Data Access and Security
Access to personal data is strictly limited to employees who require it to perform their job responsibilities. Each authorized user is assigned a unique username and password to access our systems that contain personal data. We implement robust security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and secure passwords, to protect our databases.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding data security or access, please contact us at hello@sellerfetch.com
8. Your Data Protection Rights
You have the right to access, update or delete your PII that we have collected. You can do this by logging into your account or by contacting us. You may also have the right to data portability and to restrict or object to our processing of your PII.
You have the right to opt-out of marketing communications we send you at any time. You can do this by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in those emails.
9. Use of Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform various functions to help us operate our business and provide our Services. These include:
- Posthog: For analytics and user behavior tracking to improve our Services.
- Intercom: For customer support and communication.
10. Data Controller/Processor
Certain data protection laws and regulations, such as the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA, distinguish between two main roles in data processing: the "data controller" (or "business" under CCPA) and the "data processor" (or "service provider" under CCPA). Here's how these roles apply to Seller Fetch's Services:
- Seller Fetch is the "data controller" of Prospect Data. We assume the responsibilities of data controller for this data as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Seller Fetch is the "data processor" of Customer Data, which we process on behalf of our customers (the "data controllers" of such data).
- Seller Fetch is both a "data controller" and "data processor" of User Data. We process this data for our own purposes as an independent controller, while certain portions included in Customer Data are processed on our customer's behalf as a data processor.
We process Customer Data (including some User Data) strictly in accordance with our customers' reasonable instructions and as stipulated in our Data Processing Addendum and other commercial agreements with each customer.
Our customers are responsible for:
- Determining how they use our Services
- Ensuring all individuals using the Services on their behalf have been properly notified
- Obtaining informed consent for data processing where necessary
- Meeting all legal requirements for data collection and processing through our Services
- Handling data subject rights requests under applicable law
Seller Fetch's service providers who process data on our behalf assume the role of "data processor" or "sub-processor" as appropriate.
For any questions about these roles or our data practices, please contact us at hello@sellerfetch.com
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for use by anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
